In March of 2017, Kim joined the Innovative Solutions team, bringing with her over three decades of underwriting experience working with carriers, reinsurers, and brokerage general agencies. This vast experience has allowed her to build strong relationships with individual carriers, becoming an advocate for our producers/clients. She is an expert at negotiating on their behalf to obtain only the very best possible offers no matter the case size.
Guided by best practices, solid underwriting principles, and a commitment to our producers and the clients they serve, Kim approaches each case individually. She assesses and researches risks to provide complete and accurate information to our carriers, helping to facilitate and support responsibly aggressive underwriting decisions – no matter how complex.

Kim lives in Des Moines, Iowa. She shares a passion for horses with her two daughters, Paige and Brooke. When they aren’t visiting their daughters or hosting them for a fun family weekend at home, Kim and her husband, Ray, are enjoying the extra time to explore all that Des Moines and the surrounding areas have to offer.
